Kerry completed her internship at Delta Park School, a full-time remedial school where learners receive therapeutic and remedial support, and are placed in small classes where they can get individual attention. Here she worked closely with speech and occupational therapists who eagerly shared their knowledge and expertise with her. She also expanded her knowledge about various learning barriers and learnt new skills and techniques to empower the children to rise above their scholastic, emotional and social barriers. After registering as a psychologist, Kerry spent a year in her own private practice before joining a psychology practice known as Bella Vida Centre in Bryanston. For the next 2½ years, Kerry worked alongside many experienced psychologists and had the opportunity of expanding her expertise to include sand play therapy. In March 2012, Kerry opened the doors to her practice in Riverclub.

From 2016 - 2019, Kerry consulted at The Talk Shop which is a specialised preschool that caters for the needs of children with speech and language impairments. Here she offered parental support, play therapy and conducted psycho-educational assessments.

Kerry now spends time travelling into Africa to conduct psycho-educational assessments at various international schools in countries such as Zambia and Malawi.
